In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Global Head of Project Logistics, contributing to the company's success and forging a path to industry excellence.
** Your Role **:The Global Head of Project Logistics Industrial Projects at Kuehne+Nagel is responsible for developing and executing a global growth strategy as a part of the Global Project Logistics Business Unit. This role involves overseeing business development and operations across various Kuehne+Nagel entities, ensuring global business expansion, managing P&L for Industrial Projects, and improving client satisfaction through IT solutions and compliance. The position also includes monitoring operational results, and guiding activities related to Renewable & Energy best practices.
** Your Responsibilities**:
- Developing and executing a global strategy for all Industrial Projects business areas.
- Overseeing global business development and operations across Kuehne+Nagel entities involved in Industrial Projects.
- Ensuring the growth of the business while identifying potential customers globally.
- Assuming full P&L responsibility for all aspects of the Industrial Projects business. Monitor monthly operational results, identify deviations and weaknesses and implement corrective measures jointly with regional management team.
- Leading the development of product-specific IT solutions to enhance productivity and client satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with customer HSE requirements
- Coordinating global tenders and bids, monitoring operational results, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Managing and providing direct and indirect team leadership within a matrix organizational structure, fostering collaboration and achieving the company's objectives.
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- Master's degree in logistics, economics, or a related field is required, or an equivalent level of professional experience in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the Project Logistics industry is essential.
- At least 7 years of Project Management and leadership experience.
- Expert knowledge in the business fields of Industrial Projects, Renewable & Energy Logistics, and Project Execution.
- Demonstrated excellent problem-solving abilities are expected.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource allocation procedures is required.
- Fluency in the English language, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
