**Administrative Coordinator of a Research Group**:

- part-time (40-60 %)-
**Your tasks**:

- Coordination of externally funded projects including the calculation of project costs and offers as well as budget planning, accounting and the administration of budget and third-party funds for personnel and material purposes, including EU funds
- Procurement of chemicals for research and teaching as well as technical equipment and arranging repairs for these, including independent invoice processing
- Monitoring and coordination of personnel matters of the working group
- Administrative work (secretariat) in English and German, including
- purchasing,
- accounting,
- correspondence,
- appointment coordination,
- business trip organization and accounting
- Support the research group in organisation of courses, conferences, guest speaker seminars and workshops
- Public relations work, such as maintenance of web pages, etc.
- Translation to and from English/German
- Independent writing of documents in German and English

**Your profile**:

- A completed vocational training in administration or a comparable qualification that provides training for administrative tasks
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills, the working language at the JGU is German, and in the research group it is mainly English.
- Very good knowledge of budgetary law and the use of budgeting systems
- Knowledge of administrative procedures in the public service system, financial planning and administration of public funds and third party funds
- Excellent skills in MS-Excel, MS-Word and related MS-Office software
- Knowledge of project and process management as well as basic knowledge of travel expense law is desirable
- An efficient working style as well as the ability to work in a team
