**Your Mission**:
To ignite continuous growth, Jimdo has identified a new avenue of products focusing on the Micro-business segment. Our marketing department is at the forefront of this process, helping the business target and identify the best ways of reaching our customers. As part of this, we are looking to bring on board a Head of Business Partnerships to help us grow our channels and partnerships.
As a Head of Business Partnerships, your main responsibilities include identifying potential partnership opportunities by understanding competitors, market trends, and customer needs. You proactively approach and engage with potential partners to build relationships and collaborate. You manage an active pipeline of potential and existing partners and lead negotiations and contract discussions to establish mutually beneficial partnerships. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders is crucial, and you collaborate with various internal teams to implement strategic growth partnerships. Overall, your role is essential in driving business growth through effective partnership management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify potential partnership opportunities through understanding competitors, market trends and customer needs
- Proactively approach and engage with potential partners locally, nationally and internationally to build relationships and identify opportunities to cooperate
- Manage an active pipeline that includes dozens of potential and existing partners
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions to establish mutually beneficial partnerships, ensuring that the terms and conditions are favorable for our company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations, serving as the main point of contact for ongoing partnership activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Jimdo stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, Leadership, etc) to implement strategic growth partnerships and ensure alignment to overall business strategies.
- Track and report on KPIs and performance of new and existing partnerships
**Requirements**:
- 8+ years of work experience with at least 5 years focused on partnerships, business development and/or enterprise sales.
- Experience executing on complex strategic, product, marketing or brand partnerships, including relationship management, technical integration and stakeholder management (internal and external).
- Experience working in, or with, software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses, preferably with products or services in the B2B, consumer subscription, FinTech, AdTech or MarTech space.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and evaluate partnership opportunities aligned with company goals.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, influencing and coordinating efforts with internal teams to achieve partnership objectives.
- Ability to derive actionable insights and drive outcomes from qualitative and quantitative data sources.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to track and measure partnership performance using relevant metrics.
- Lean and flexible approach to work and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders of all levels (including executives) in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution and time management skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
