**Your tasks**:
This newly created Customer Service position in our Electronics Headquarter in Darmstadt involves working in a high dynamic and demanding environment focused on delivering best-in-class service to Merck´s customers in Europe.
You are responsible for the high-quality execution of the entire customer journey; from the moment an order is placed until it is timely delivered. You establish and maintain working relationships to our semiconductor customers as well as manufacturing and distribution partners along the value chain, under consideration of the worldwide supply markets and supply chain.
As an expert you work purposefully with our stakeholders to reach our customer´s needs. You use proven practices to solve problems and optimize our service based on complaints and KPIs analysis.
**Your qualification**:
- Bachelor / Master's degree in business administration or Supply Chain Management
- 5 years of work experience in a customer facing role with a strong focus on supply chain/ logistics in a similar international environment; preferably in semiconductors industry
- Experience in leading cross-functional project teams
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve problems based on KPIs
- Professional English and German proficiency are required. Additional European language (French, Italian) skills preferred
- Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels within organization
