Intern - Sales/account Management

More than 80 dedicated employees make up our international team at the company headquarters in the heart of Berlin, on the well-known Friedrichstraße. Over the past 25 years, IMAGO has successfully established itself as the market leader in Germany and is constantly evolving to meet the dynamic global market demands. We are looking for a motivated, curious intern with strong communication skills to join our International Sales team and support our business development, with immediate effect. This is a paid 4-6 months internship.
Tasks
Assist in updating and maintaining customer information in the CRM system.
Monitor and track customer interactions and communications.
Conduct research on existing accounts to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Help identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
Assist Account Managers in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales contracts.
Collaborate with Account Managers to develop account plans and strategies.
Respond to customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Conduct market research to identify potential new customers and market opportunities.
Assist in gathering competitive intelligence and analyzing competitor activities.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support account-specific initiatives.
Manage specific projects related to account management under the guidance of senior team members.
**Requirements**:
Fluent in English (professional working proficiency in german or another language is a plus)
Understanding of basic sales cycle and terminologies
Good understanding or will to learn of B2B Sales environment
Background or basic understanding of image, media or sports industry
Good communication and time management skills
Knowledge of different sport leagues, teams, associations would be an added benefit
