At least 10+ years’ experience in a Professional Services / Sales Commercial strategy and program management role supporting large scale multi-geographical hi-tech Sales or Professional Services Organization, including use and knowledge of Salesforce and Deal data.
- +7 years experience in Bid management & complex deal closing activities
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge of sales methodology, strategic selling, and sales enablement to define and implement new/improved sales processes, procedures, and improvement initiatives that drive high business impact and build a culture of continuous improvement
- Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM system
- Innovating simplified end to end sales (integrating Sales Solution Architects w/Professional Services) best practices scaling results and customer outcomes.
- Commercial and Contract Management experience
- Account management, Demand generation, Pipeline Management. Forecasting and Proposal development experience with proven results against pipeline and sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies
- Strong narrative writing skills
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Enablement, Training, and Change Management experience including planning and implementation of change to the field force through communications and integration into other organizations.
Job summary
Sales Acceleration & Enablement (SAE) Lead DACH
We are seeking an experienced Sales leader to drive our growth strategy and shape the sales operating rhythm of our fast growing Professional Services business in DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Bringing experience of deal strategy for consulting and delivery engagements, you will formulate mechanisms, programs and best practices across demand generation, pipeline management, forecasting and strategic deal support enabling our Professional Services sales organization to accelerate new business.
You will obsess on our customers and sellers’ needs, and innovate and think big on their behalf. You will lead efforts to develop and deploy strategies that allow our selling organization to be impactful in driving meaningful business outcomes for our customers.
You will become a critical business partner to our senior leadership and will support strategic business planning and execution through providing deep insights and driving operational discipline. You will earn trust through relationship building and will possess a work ethic that drives the desired results.
This is a hands-on position - you must be willing to “roll up your sleeves” to get changes adopted in the field to deliver the desired results.
You will have experience in professional services, sales, commercial management, and sales enablement.
Key job responsibilities
- Structure programs and mechanisms that improve the effectiveness and productivity of our Enterprise Services Managers.
- Improve the quality of our engagements and proposals, and remove points of friction for customers.
- Lead the creation and adoption of the sales operations mechanisms, which may include establishing critical processes and operational controls, developing dashboards, metrics, and analytics, and leading strategic considerations for the Strategic Accounts business.
- Drive bar raising sales goal attainment initiatives that enable improved sales productivity, deal velocity, deal sizes, and pipeline coverage.
- Coach Selling community on sales best practices, value-based selling, prospecting, pipeline generation and pipeline management
- Develop Win Plan methodology.
- Driving long-term strategy in close collaboration with Sales Enablement and Acceleration organization. This involves envisioning current state improvements and developing future state operating models helping to define Sales Enablement for Professional Services.
- Drive Sales Acceleration though programmatic account planning, account plan execution, and the deployment of opportunity qualification & shaping mechanisms.
- Provide Strategic Pursuits support structuring executive alignment, win themes, risk management & timely deal support escalations.
- Sales Operations, taking ownership of sales process improvements and serving as trusted escalation point to solve for sales and customer friction in the sales cycle.
- Support sales leaders in sales strategy and operational planning & insights. Help us see around corners and identify levers that drive scale.
- Sales Enablement & Communication, creating a platform to share best practices across the region (e.g. Panel Speaker Series, learnings from key wins, articles, assets), orchestrate C-Level Briefings, develop playbooks, improve first call decks and templates together with Portfolio Management.
