**Duties**:
The incumbent works as a TELEPHONE SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR (TSO) located at US Consulate General Frankfurt, providing switchboard services for the US Embassy in Moscow, Russia between the hours of 0800 and 1700 Moscow Standard Time, from Monday through Friday except for published US Mission Russia and US Federal holidays. S/he also provides switchboard services for the constituent posts of US Mission Russia between the hours of 0800 and 1700 Moscow Standard Time, from Monday through Friday except for published US Mission Russia and US Federal holidays. While on duty, s/he assumes responsibility for all Mission Russia switchboard operations. This position is supervised by the Russia Support Unit (RSU) Information Systems Officer (ISO) and reviewed by the Regional Support Center (RSC) Regional Supervisory Information Management Officer (RIMO).

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of one (1) year work experience as an operator on an electronic switchboard system or as a receptionist in a
customer service-oriented environment is required.
- Education Requirements:
Mandatory:

- Completion of secondary school is required: This may be Germany: Realschule; United States: High School Diploma, or GED; Other countries: Certificate or Attestation of General Secondary School Completion.
- Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:

- English (Good Working Knowledge) in speaking, reading, and writing is required.
- Russian (Good Working Knowledge) in speaking, reading, and writing is required.
