**Director of New Markets**:
**Starting date**:as soon as possible
**Our compensation package**: €120,000 - €135,000 in yearly salary, €120,000 - €180,000 in equity, and up to €5,000 per year in company benefits.
**Office location**: Munich, Germany

**Your role**:
**You lead our next phase of growth.** **You work directly with company leadership to create and expand new markets on our journey to unleash AI-powered imaging for everything and everyone. You leverage your entrepreneurial background and international business development experience together with your strategic mindset to fuel our growth.

**Your day-to-day**:
As a Director of New Markets, you will be responsible for new markets. You will dive deep into diverse global industries, build relationships with key stakeholders, and secure commercial contracts. You have responsibility for:

- Identifying new markets and creating new opportunities for Orbem
- Developing the product concept, business model, and go-to-market strategy
- Conducting strategic assessments of new market opportunities, identifying those with the highest impact and potential
- Creating and maintaining customer relationships
- Creating new commercial opportunities and driving the full cycle to sale
- Leading cross-functional teams to build new business concepts and products
- Driving team growth and development: Nurturing a thriving team culture that fosters professional growth, knowledge sharing, and excellence
- Driving the recruitment and onboarding of exceptional business development and sales talent: Developing and implementing a strategic hiring plan to attract and cultivate top-tier business development and sales professionals

**Operational experience**
- You have 5+ years of experience in business development or consulting roles
- You have a deep understanding of B2B sales and commercial strategies
- You have the proven capability to create new opportunities and convert them into long-ranging commercial relationships

**Leadership and communication skills**
- You are fluent in English
- You leverage your critical thinking and analytical skills in decision making
- You are an excellent communicator
- You have assumed leadership roles in the past
- You are able to provide leadership and mentorship to a team of business development, pre-sales, and sales professionals
- You know how to facilitate a cohesive and motivated team environment that fosters growth
- You are motivated to recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier talent to strengthen the team's capabilities

- You have previous experience in closing 8-digit commercial contracts in international business environments
