**Position Overview**
As a Business Development Associate (BDA) at Piano, you will work with our talented sales and marketing team to generate new business opportunities for our Travel & Transportation prospects in a global capacity. You will also work cross-organizationally to gain insights and deliver front line feedback on what prospects are saying while generating qualified opportunities into the pipeline.
**A day in the life of a BDA**:
- Communicate with prospects, including managing discovery calls and qualifying prospects
- Work with Sales and Marketing to identify and prioritize strategic campaigns and develop outreach plans
- Deploy creative outreach tactics to generate engagement and alignment with product launches, new features, published research, company news, partners and future initiative.
- Leverage marketing channels such as our website, conferences, webinars, partners or content to successfully engage prospects along their buying journey.
- Build your social network using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find the right prospects, build trusted relationships, stay on top of their mind and ultimately, convert them into sales.
- Use Salesforce, LeanData, 6sense, Outreach etc to accurately target and sequence prospects and forecast opportunities
**What you bring**:
- 1-2 years of experience in outbound opportunity generation, ideally with enterprise-level SaaS solutions
- Fluent in English
- Goal-oriented and a self-starter
- Knowledge of the airlines or travel space is a plus, but not required
- Must be located in Berlin or Amsterdam
- Ability to travel internationally up to once per quarter for conferences and events
