Head of Operations

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead our operations team and drive KoRo’s operational strategy. This role is essential to ensuring efficient and effective processes across our supply chain, warehousing and logistics. As Head of Operations, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize operational performance and support KoRo's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor the operations team (15 FTE) fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain management, including inventory planning, procurement, and logistics.
- Ensure efficient warehouse management, including storage, order fulfillment, and timely delivery of products.
- Work closely with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to maintain strong relationships and negotiate optimal terms.
- Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Develop and manage the operations budget, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with the commercial, finance, and product teams to support new product launches and international expansion.
- University degree in business administration, or a technical field
- Extensive experience in an operations or supply chain management role, ideally within the e-commerce or food industry.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management best practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and other relevant tools.
- Fluent in German and English.
- You live in Berlin or you are willing to move to Berlin.
