Overview: Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for cutting-edge technology in the robotics industry? We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join a leading global company specializing in advanced Lidar solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive growth and innovation in the robotics sector, working with top-tier clients and groundbreaking technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development and sales for lidar solutions in the robotics industries, including autonomous mobility, intelligent transportation systems, and reality capture.
  • Engage in a consultative, relationship-driven sales process, focusing on top prospects and driving ambitious sales goals.
  • Build and maintain credible relationships from the engineering level to C-level executives.
  • Actively manage and support a network of distributors and VARs in the EMEA region.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
  • Qualify incoming leads from corporate websites, tradeshows, and marketing campaigns, ensuring effective follow-up.
  • Support and participate in EMEA tradeshows and industry conferences, strengthening relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identify and communicate new customer/prospect requirements to product management, marketing, and engineering teams.
  • Be highly responsive to customer needs and work cross-functionally to satisfy and grow customer relationships.
  • Maintain internal reporting and forecasting for business operations and finance teams.


Qualifications:

  • A driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager with 3-10 years of sales experience at industrial accounts in the EMEA region.
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual sales targets and business development goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Preferred background in selling opto-mechatronic/sensor solutions (Lidar, Camera, 3D systems).
  • Fluency in English and German.
