Internal Sales Manager

Insight are partnered with the world's leading load bank manufacturer, and a full-time role has arisen within their German rental business for an internal salesperson and administrator.
Working closely with the German rental sales and operations teams, the internal salesperson will produce quotations, follow up on previous quotations, allocate enquiries to the sales, rental desk and overseas operations, along with close customer communication.
The role will be remote based within a 50kM radius of Düsseldorf, and there is ability for home working. Training in applications, company products and CRM databases will be provided.
If you can work quickly & independently, communicate well both verbally & written, have an eye for detail and are customer-focused, this role will provide you with the opportunity to work within an exciting sales team.
Reporting to the European Rental Sales Manager the role will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- The allocation of all incoming German rental sales enquiries to the relevant account manager.
- The preparation of selected rental quotes (simple to medium offers).
- The recording of all rental sales opportunities, monthly forecasting and maintenance of the CRM system.
- Provide liaison between initial sales/customer process to German rental operations for execution of work.
- Follow up of outstanding quoted opportunities.
- Play an integral part of the rental sales team with account manager.
- Periodically attend sales events with customers.
- Customer support & assistance.
- Development of new sales opportunities via referrals, online channels etc.
Sales Administrator Tasks:
- Enquiry to offer process tracking in conjunction with Germany Sales Manager
- Complete administration of Order to execution process which includes;
- Placing order from German GmbH on UK factory.
- Confirming order with end customer
- Ensure correct Invoicing
- Organization of Logistics once manufacture is completed
- Liaise with customer throughout the process
- Revenue reporting to Sales Manager
Qualifications
- High standard of written German and English.
- Good numeracy skills.
- High standard of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work quickly, under pressure without supervision.
- An ability to develop a firm understanding of company products and application – a demonstrable ability to acquire technical knowledge.
Communication
- Communicate with German & UK rental operations, clearly and on-time.
- Clear written communication with customers.
- Strong telephone manner to get things done.
Teamwork
- Work as part of a committed, enthusiastic, and diligent team.
- Confident, proactive character, able to take the lead in challenging situations.
