About the Role:

We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will work closely with the Sales Director Europe, assisting in managing change requests related to quotation, preparation, and the order-to-cash flow process. Your role will involve coordinating with internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate handling of change requests, and maintaining smooth operations throughout the sales cycle.


Key Responsibilities:

Change Request Management:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Director Europe to manage change requests related to quotation and order processing.
  • Assess the feasibility and impact of each change request, considering factors such as pricing, delivery timelines, and resource availability.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including sales, operations, finance, and legal, to evaluate the technical, operational, and financial implications of the requested changes.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their change request requirements, negotiate solutions, and provide updates on the status of their requests.
  • Ensure that change requests align with company policies, contractual obligations, and profitability targets.

Quotation and Proposal Preparation:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and comprehensive quotations and proposals in response to customer requirements and change requests.
  • Collaborate with the sales and solutions engineering teams to gather relevant information and technical specifications.
  • Review and validate pricing and terms based on company guidelines and pricing structures.
  • Ensure that quotations and proposals are aligned with the customer's expectations and contract terms.

Order-to-Cash Flow Management:

  • Coordinate the order-to-cash flow process, ensuring smooth order processing, invoicing, and payment collection.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and operations, to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor order status, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and communicate updates to customers.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on payment collections.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of change requests, quotations, and order details.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for the Sales Director Europe, highlighting key metrics, risks, and opportunities.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures related to change request management and the order-to-cash process.
  • Continuously analyze and improve processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess change request feasibility and understand pricing and financial implications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, quotation management, and order processing concepts (even if limited to theoretical knowledge from university coursework).
  • Familiarity with basic business software applications, such as Microsoft Office (including Excel) or similar tools.
  • Motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for sales and the telecommunications industry.
