Who we are

Here at mute-labs we aim to improve the daily work lives of as many people as possible by providing high quality yet affordable phone and meeting booths - one booth and one office at a time. And we’re not like any other Berlin start-up you might know:


  • We’re “no tech”: We know how to develop and sell great hardware products with a focus on sound insulated phone- and meeting booths.

  • We have no investors and we really don’t want any. We've been profitable since day one.

  • We are growing – not just in employees or coffee cups consumed, but in revenue and profit.

THE JOB

As our new People & Culture Operations Manager, you make sure that

  • all people operations run smoothly and are constantly optimized – from recruiting to contract management and onboarding to a variety of administrative tasks

  • we’re building the strongest team possible for mute-labs that enables us to scale and grow our business across Europe

  • we’re building a work environment that empowers our employees to unfold their full potential by continuously supporting their individual growth

  • we uphold our fun, warm and welcoming culture at mute-labs, for example by planning team events and owning our bi weekly Newsletter

  • people love coming to our Berlin office by taking care of all office management-related tasks including supplies, inventory and office safety

  • various projects with our Head of People & Operations are completed successfully, such as building a strong employer brand, introducing and owning our feedback processes as well as company-wide recruiting

This is you

  • You have 2+ years of work experience in HR, office management or a similar people-facing role in a high-paced environment

  • Your empathy can only be matched by your desire to support others on their individual growth journey

  • You are an organizational talent and always keep a cool head thanks to your great prioritization skills

  • You know exactly what distinguishes a good work environment from an exceptional one and you’re ready to make it happen hands-on

  • Fluency in English and German is a must
