TheCustomer Success EngineerRole

Join the Customer Success Organization (CSO) at Qlik as a Customer Success Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our valued customers.

As part of the CSO team, you'll work closely with Customer Success Managers to provide expert technical guidance and support to our advanced customers, ensuring seamless implementations and ongoing adoption of Qlik's platform.

Customer-Centric Focus: Be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing system architecture and development strategy advice to our most advanced customers, ensuring their implementations are timely, successful, scalable, and secure. Hands-On Engagement: Lead consulting engagements, both in-person and via web conference, for assigned clients, driving the analysis, architecture, design, and development of large-scale data management and business intelligence solutions. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with internal teams at Qlik to ensure successful customer deployments, fostering strong relationships with technical teams and stakeholders.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

Technical Expertise: Leverage your expertise in relational databases, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts to advise customers on integrating the Qlik platform within enterprise deployments, integrating third-party products, and ensuring high performance and availability. Consulting Leadership: Lead the documentation and presentation of complex architectures to customer technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding throughout the implementation process. Problem-Solving: Take full ownership of customer-reported issues, conducting hands-on analysis and troubleshooting to resolve challenges efficiently and effectively.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related technical field, or related industry experience. Experience with relational databases, data warehouse, data modelling concepts. Experience with data replication and change data capture concepts. Experience with Oracle, DB2 (iSeries or z/OS), SQL Server, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery. Experience with Hadoop (at least 1 distribution, Cloudera or Hortonworks), Hive, or Kafka. Demonstrated success managing multiple, concurrent projects. Able to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team. Able to multi-task and refocus based on changing priorities. Able to communicate effectively and patiently with both customers and employees. Able to take ownership of projects and to show initiative. Business-levelEnglish & German plus other languages would be a plus.

Additional preferred skills:

Experience in programming scripting languages such as Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, and Scala. Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructures. Experience in data vault and dimensional data modelling methodologies.
