Position Summary

In this role, you will work as a member of the System LSI quality team supporting the R&D and industrial engineering teams. You will define quality improvement priorities through monitoring and analysis of customer complaint data after mass production. By making objective judgments and driving continuous improvement you will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Role and Responsibilities

Performing data based analysis to identify improvement potentials and implement and monitor smart automotive KPIs Leading PPAP submission toward the customer as per AIAG requirement Driving PCN activities to ensure successful implementation of the changes after mass production Supporting and conducting audits Managing customer escalations using problem solving methodologies for technical problems and by an excellent customer communication strategy Driving quality risks assessment deploying problems solving methodology, coordinating Root Cause analysis and Corrective actions for continuous quality improvement (8D’s). Assessing failure modes, identifying potential/emerging problems and defining the effective LL to optimize our quality via core KPIs Ensuring timely communication of related quality and reliability information to Samsung HQ for customer satisfaction Dealing as a customer interface for technical and quality issues for automotive customers Contributing to the development of processes, tools and methods Ensuring close cooperation to align Customer and Headquarter Quality organizations Preparing/coordinating Quality meetings with major customers as required Professional reporting of quality issues and KPI to HQ/EU management

Skills and Qualifications

A degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent education Solid professional experience in quality management within the semiconductor industry Customer-facing experience in automotive quality or similar function Strong understanding of quality management systems, methods, and procedures (e.g., IATF 16949, risk management, FMEA, 8D) Knowledge of industry standards (JEDEC/AEC-Q100) and six-sigma tools Proficiency in MS Office, including strong Excel skills with Power Query and Data Modeling Strong understanding of reliability methods, accelerated stressing and probability statistics knowledge Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Fluent in English with excellent communication skills Advanced experience in semiconductor and IC technology Willingness to occasional business trips
