Key Responsibilities:

Secure the Project Quality:

  • Be the voice of the customer by providing APQP deliverables during project development.
  • Act as the customer interface for quality matters related to the project.
  • Ensure customer requirements are understood and monitored.
  • Define and monitor project and component quality targets, identifying potential risks and reporting them during PVC.
  • Deliver APQP requirements right the first time, adhering to customer planning, regulations, and standards.
  • Define and implement control plans (Prototype, Reinforced, and Serial) to ensure production reliability and product quality.
  • Ensure initial samples are submitted, received, understood, and ready for customer acceptance for production release.

Support Design & Process Activities:

  • Participate in risk assessment activities (DFMEA, PFMEA) to meet customer and internal expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in product and process development.
  • Support other PTMs in delivering project outcomes, providing advice on methods, tools, and customer practices.
  • Ensure timely execution of product qualification according to the Design Validation Plan (DVP) developed with R&D.
  • Initiate and implement PDCA-FTA and read-across Lessons Learned during prototype, DV phase, PV phase, pre-series, and SOP+6 months.
  • Support and monitor process validation through Process Audits and Full Day Production Runs (FDPR).

Support Project Management Activities (Launch Included):

  • Assist the Project Manager in identifying risks associated with non-quality and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track and follow up on the Single Issue List (SLI) of the project with the Project Manager.
  • Ensure planned activities and deliverables meet standards and Lean Project Plan baselines, managing any gaps through recovery plans or justified approvals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and project management, preferably in Automotive.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and quality control plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to act as the customer interface for quality matters.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support project management activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
