The Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality (MP) department is responsible for procurement, quality assurance and the responsible organization of our supply chains. We work in partnership with around 0 suppliers in Germany and abroad.
Our team:
As part of our team, you will help to ensure that our products and services are procured with social and environmentally friendly aspects in mind. Whether climate protection, resource conservation or human rights in the supply chain: we develop, implement and continuously improve the objectives of our sustainable business strategy as well as processes and standards relating to these topics. Raw materials in general and the supply chains for steel, aluminum and battery materials in particular play a central role in this.
These are just some of the tasks you will be involved in:
Helping to implement a more climate-friendly (raw materials) supply chain as part of Ambition 9 Assisting with the implementation of new environmental requirements for the supply chain and suppliers, e.g. CBAM, CS3D, CO2 reductions, environmental due diligence obligations, etc. Independent processing of defined projects and tasks, such as tracking our climate protection targets in the supply chain, responding to the CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) supplier rating, CO2 evaluations of battery materials, etc. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of suppliers, including evaluating the sustainability performance of suppliers, reviewing and following up on sustainability requirements Preparation of management presentations and training documents General research activities on sustainability topics Independent communication and coordination of issues with other areas in the GroupWhat we offer you:
