About Us:
The Procurement & Supplier Quality (MP) division at Mercedes-Benz Cars is dedicated to sourcing, quality assurance, and the responsible management of our supply chains. We collaborate with numerous suppliers both domestically and internationally.
Your Contribution:
As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our procurement processes consider social and environmental factors. Your work will encompass various aspects, including climate protection, resource conservation, and human rights within the supply chain. Special focus will be given to raw materials, particularly in the context of steel, aluminum, and battery materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the transition to a more sustainable raw materials supply chain.
- Assist in the integration of new environmental regulations affecting suppliers.
- Manage specific projects, including tracking climate protection goals and responding to sustainability assessments.
- Evaluate supplier sustainability performance and ensure compliance with sustainability standards.
- Prepare presentations and training materials for management.
- Conduct research on sustainability-related topics.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications:
