Operations Manager – Medical Care

As the Operations Manager for medical care centers in the northern region, you will play a key role in ensuring that newly integrated practices operate smoothly, are organizationally aligned, and gradually develop a shared understanding of common working methods.

In this position, you will work closely with transferring physicians, practice teams, and central functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support newly acquired practices through their transition phase — from onboarding teams to implementing operational initiatives that enhance performance.
  • Translate change into concrete, practical actions, provide clarity, and foster trust among team members.
  • Identify challenges early in the transformation process and collaborate with local teams and central departments to develop pragmatic solutions.
  • Introduce efficient processes and structures while ensuring that relevant performance data is shared consistently with central functions.
  • Promote targeted professional development — particularly for medical assistants progressing toward practice management roles — and ensure clear team structures and responsibilities.
  • Serve as the primary link between the practices and central functions, ensuring smooth communication and successful implementation of decisions and projects.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Academic background and relevant experience in operational management of multiple teams or sites — for example as a regional manager, site lead, or in a comparable role within a service-oriented environment.
  • Motivation to help shape outpatient care and drive change in a dynamic, growing setting.
  • Proven ability to structure processes, stabilize teams, and improve the performance of locations or departments.
  • Strong hands-on mentality with the ability to quickly understand new topics and how processes function in day-to-day operations.
  • Experience in team development and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders — including physicians, medical staff, and central teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and maintain regular on-site presence to build strong relationships with local teams.
