Role Description

As a Private Equity Investment Associate, you will play a central role in the evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities across diverse industries. Working closely with senior investment professionals, you will support all stages of the deal process — from sourcing and financial analysis to due diligence, transaction structuring, and post-investment value creation. This role combines strategic thinking, quantitative rigor, and business insight to help drive strong portfolio performance and long-term value for investors.

Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth industry research, analyzing target company financials, building detailed valuation and leveraged buyout (LBO) models, and assessing investment risks and returns. You will participate in meetings with management teams, advisors, and co-investors to evaluate strategic fit and operational potential. In collaboration with portfolio management teams, you will monitor performance metrics, track value creation initiatives, and support exit planning strategies. This position provides an exceptional opportunity to develop a holistic understanding of investment processes and gain exposure to high-impact decision-making in a dynamic private equity environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including proficiency in LBO, DCF, and comparable company analyses.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance principles, capital structures, and investment evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or PitchBook.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering clear insights to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
