Finance Manager, Private Equity Fund

THE SEARCH:
Drax Altus have been mandated by a leading German investment firm who are looking to hire a Finance Manager to support the technical group reporting, commercial management and controlling of the portfolio companies.
The firm has been investing for over 25 years and manages a portfolio of companies across several industries, including manufacturing, industrials, energy and IT infrastructure. They invest with longer-term horizons and therefore place a heavy emphasis on strategic value creation and operational excellence.
THE ROLE:
The role of the Finance Manager will work directly with the holding CFO on a mix of financial and commercial tasks including:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual HGB and IFRS consolidated financial statements.
- Controlling the portfolio companies and commercial management of the holding.
- Supporting the M&A process, particularly through financial due diligence.
This is a rare opportunity to move into an investment firm in a finance function with autonomy and breadth in responsibility - the role is suited to someone who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial setting that wants to be hands-on with the management teams in helping them to grow their companies.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-7 years of work experience in finance with exposure to HGB and IFRS, either at an accounting firm, private equity fund or corporate
- Fluent German speaker
