The Opportunity

As
Investment Director / Investment Manager
, you'll play a key role in establishing and scaling the private equity arm. Working closely with the founding partners, you'll be responsible for
end-to-end deal execution
and ongoing portfolio value creation.

This is an opportunity to join
a high-calibre investment team at an early stage
, combining the agility of a new platform with the institutional backing of an established investor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Origination:
    Identify and evaluate attractive mid-market investment opportunities across Germany.
  • Execution:
    Lead financial modelling, due diligence, structuring, and negotiation of transactions.
  • Investment Thesis Development:
    Build actionable investment hypotheses and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  • Portfolio Management:
    Work directly with management teams to drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and M&A.
  • Network Building:
    Develop relationships with advisors, entrepreneurs, and intermediaries to build a proprietary deal pipeline.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years' experience in
    private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, or strategy consulting
    .
  • Demonstrated ability to
    originate, analyse, and execute
    mid-market transactions.
  • Strong commercial judgement and understanding of operational value creation.
  • Native or fluent
    German
    and
    English
    skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on attitude, and ability to thrive in a lean, fast-moving environment.
