Your Impact
As the Deal Desk Director for Germany, you will play a critical role in enabling OpenText's commercial success by overseeing the structuring, approval, and governance of complex deals across the region. Your expertise will ensure that every transaction aligns with corporate policies, optimizes profitability, and mitigates risk. By partnering with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations, you'll provide strategic guidance on pricing, contract terms, and deal strategy, helping accelerate revenue while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.
What the Role Offers
This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact function at the intersection of sales strategy and business operations. You'll manage a team of deal desk professionals, drive process improvements, and influence decision-making on some of the most strategic and complex deals in the region. With access to advanced tools, global best practices, and senior leadership visibility, you'll be empowered to shape deal governance, enhance efficiency, and contribute directly to OpenText's growth in Germany and across EMEA.
What You Need to Succeed
To succeed in this role, you bring extensive experience in deal desk operations or commercial governance within a global technology or enterprise software environment. You have a strong understanding of pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and revenue recognition principles. You're a collaborative leader with exceptional analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Fluency in English is required, and German language skills are a strong advantage. Experience managing teams and driving process optimization will set you apart.
