As a Senior Client Solutions Executive for Global Accounts, you will join the Professional Services Organization and be part of an exciting team working to drive complex solutions that create disruption, help our customers to innovate their business models and enable them to achieve competitive advantage differentiation by using VMware’s technologies and services. **Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**
- As a Senior Client Solutions Executive (CSE) you will hold responsibility for service sales across global enterprise customers based out of CEMEA region. You will work with the Global Accounts extended Sales team and orchestrate a variety of VMware presales resources to build the commercial proposition to your customers and achieve your business objectives by selling large and complex projects
- You will use your experience in service sales to present and defend your proposals, drive the sales cycle end-to-end, and qualify leads with your customers and partners.
- You will be encouraged to openly share your knowledge and approach to service sales with diverse teams and express your passion, dedication and creativity
- Within 60 days of employment, you will be able to leverage your understanding of Software Defined Data Centers & cloud infrastructures, VMware vision of multi-cloud, and our app modernization strategy, in addition to our internal process, to successfully negotiate and close deals with customers and partners

**What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- Work as a team with Sales and Presales Solution Consultants on customer Request for Proposal (RFP)
- Build new solutions for our customers by taking advantage of VMware's emerging technologies
- Build the statement of work (legal and finance terms)
- Manage the VMware PSO presales resources required to develop proposals and respond to RFQs, RFPs and Statements of Work (SoWs)
- Work with the Global Accounts extended sales team to develop business pipelines
- Travel as needed within your Global Account customers
- Liaise with the VMware Key Stakeholders to secure deal and pricing approvals

**What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?**

The hiring manager for this role is Alejandro Moglia, Senior Director, EMEA Professional Services Global Account Sales. His experience has been built from both sales and consulting roles over more than 24 years and most recently by building and running his successful services sales team across EMEA for VMware for the last 4 years.

Alejandro’s management philosophy is about leveraging the best of a culturally-diverse team across EMEA and the fantastic talent he has on his team. Alejandro looks for people who can think out-of-the-box, bring innovation and become obsessed with his customers. Alejandro is always keen to drive disruption with new ideas and enable the team to be exposed internally to senior Execs as well as working with them on the field in driving large and complex deals.

The core team is made up of very experienced sellers and strong technical pre-sales architects who worked as buddies in their accounts. The team likes celebrating success and have fun along the way and we look at constantly sharing experiences the nearly 40 accounts they cover across EMEA. As sales team, their works hours and schedule are always aligned to customer opportunities so there is flexibility and a good work-life balance. They maximise hybrid working location as well as every opportunity to meet their customers, which is their main passion at VMware.

**Where is this role located?**

Flexible: The location of this role is flexible within Germany. Work will be done from Munich’s office at times, remotely as well as visiting customers as required.
