**Your mission**:
As the Head (M/F/x) of Internal AI, you will drive our commitment to transforming appliedAI into an AI-first company, serving as a role model for our customers and our own AI consulting practices. Your focus will be on developing innovative methods for creating agents and multi-agent systems, which will serve as the foundation for our services.
In this role, you will closely collaborate with all appliedAI teams to understand their challenges in implementing and scaling AI solutions. You will establish a governance framework to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and manage the process of defining our company’s AI strategy, steering the resulting internal roadmap. With your extensive expertise in Data and AI—especially in large language models (LLMs) and agentic AI—you will be recognized as a technology expert within appliedAI, as well as among our customers and partners.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Manage the internal AI use case portfolio
- Support appliedAI teams in developing and implementing automations, agents and multi-agent systems to optimize our collaboration and efficiency
- Ensure AI governance and compliance, including the creation and maintenance of policies as well as the selection and tracking of necessary qualifications
- Work closely with the SME team to identify their use cases and collaborate with internal teams to pilot and evaluate them
**Your profile**:
- More than 10 years of professional background in implementing AI solutions, AI engineering or a related field, with proven references of implementation of AI products and solutions in corporate environments
- Excellent expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques
- Ability and interest to holistically think about the impact of technology and Agentic AI in particular
- Experience in designing and implementing agentic systems using current Agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen,or crewAI
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners
- Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and contributing to high-performing teams
- Experience in developing a governance framework to ensure compliance with all legal requirements
- Fluent English and German skills are required
