**Role**:
As an **AI Product Owner** at Apaleo, you will drive the growth of our AI ecosystem, shaping our AI marketplace, development environment, and AI-specific APIs. You thrive in an agile setting, embrace experimentation, and bring creative ideas to the table.

**What You'll Bring to the Team**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Engineering**, or a **related technical field**. A Master's degree in **AI, Data Science**, or a related discipline is a strong plus.

**Experience**:

- **5+ years** of experience in **Product Ownership or Product Management**, preferably with **SaaS, B2B tech**, or **platform-based companies**.
- **2+ years** of hands-on experience building and delivering **AI-powered solutions** from concept through launch and iteration.
- Proven success in scaling AI-enabled products with measurable customer or business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to manage **product backlogs, roadmaps**, and lead cross-functional product delivery in agile environments.

**Technical and Product Skills**:

- Familiarity with **AI & agentic frameworks, API design, MCP** (optional).
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Experience creating and maintaining **technical documentation and API specifications** for both internal teams and external partners.

**Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Proven track record of leading **agile product squads** and collaborating effectively with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Skilled in **stakeholder management**, bringing together diverse perspectives and building consensus around priorities.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives, developers, and end users.

**Strategic and Analytical Mindset**:

- Strong **problem-solving, analytical**, and **decision-making** abilities driven by data and user insights.
- Passion for tackling complex business challenges with AI solutions, while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Extensive experience with **Agile methodologies** such as Scrum or Kanban, including effective backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.

**Bonus Qualifications**:

- Experience with **SaaS**, **hospitality tech**, **automation platforms**, or **API-first development**.
- Practical knowledge of **Python, R, SQL**, or **AI/ML frameworks**.
- Familiarity with AI ethics, compliance, model explainability, and data privacy practices in product development.
- Relevant certifications in **Agile/Scrum**, **Product Ownership**, or **Machine Learning/AI**.

- **Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration** - Partner with **engineering, design, and marketing** to build AI-driven features that enhance customer experience and business efficiency.
- **Champion Customer-Centric Solutions** - Gather stakeholder insights to **identify pain points** and ensure AI solutions **deliver real value**.
- **Optimize Performance** - Define **KPIs for AI products**, measure impact, and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
- **Design AI Solutions** - Collaborate with engineers to architect scalable ML/NLP pipelines and AI services.
- **Create Technical Documentation** - Develop comprehensive API specifications, integration guides, and developer resources.
- **Ensure Ethical AI Practices** - Implement responsible AI governance, including data privacy protection and bias mitigation.
