AUFGABEN

Direct report to the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and key member of the sustainability strategy team

Shape TÜV SÜD’s global sustainability strategy and commercial offer, focusing on reporting and assurance solutions (business development, partnerships and thought leadership)

Work closely with senior executives and leadership teams across divisions and regions, as well as client-facing teams, to develop short-to-long-term strategies to increase market presence and launch new services

Lead and facilitate business development initiatives, client meetings, pitches and negotiations

Lead lighthouse sustainability reporting and assurance projects and build strong relationships with clients such as corporates, funds, associations and institutions

Guide cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate, and effective implementation of engagements that achieve client objectives

Be responsible for sustainability reporting competence hub, resource planning, team development and related training curriculum

Promote sustainability reporting excellence across all business divisions and regions and support, as a company expert, the firm-wide sustainability agenda

QUALIFIKATIONEN

University degree in management, finance, accounting, environmental science, or engineering

CPA or comparable qualification considered a plus

6+ years of relevant experience

Strong commercial drive and ability to pitch and execute projects

Strong technical understanding of key sustainability reporting regulation and standards (CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, SFRD, ISSB, GRI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, SDGs, UNPRI, UNPRB, UNGC)

Exceptional project management capabilities and communication skills

Passion for new business creation with hands-on approach and entrepreneurial mindset as well as proven track record

Leadership qualities to build teams and collaborate across the organization and with clients

Attention to detail (meetings, action plans, follow-ups, roadmap, etc.)

Strong presentation and moderation skills in English and German
