Munich Re's **Team for ESG in own Operations** is responsible for steering the Group's activities with regard to **ESG & Environmental Management in own operations, including regulatory reporting requirements** and the **Group's Corporate Citizenship strategy.**
The team is part of the Group Sustainability Department and the Head of ESG in own Operations reports directly to the Head of Sustainability of the Munich Re Group.
We are looking for a Head of ESG in own Operations with strong project management skills, a passion for sustainability and a high level of motivation for environmental management and corporate citizenship.

**Your Job**
- Further develop our ESG strategy in our own operations and ensure that we meet our ESG and climate targets
- Steer our strategic Group activities with respect to environmental management in our own operations
- Implement regulatory requirements, in particular CSRS/ESRS, regarding the Group's environmental reporting on own operations
- Steer and develop our Group Corporate Citizenship strategy
- Ensure consistent reporting of Group Corporate Citizenship activities
- Prepare discussions with top management
- Leading strategic group-wide projects on ESG with a hands-on & pragmatic mindset
- Lead and coach a team of specialized and motivated experts

**Your Profile**
- Above average university degree or similar training
- Project management experience
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
- Highly developed soft skills, especially strong communication and presentation skills
- High internal motivation to drive sustainability throughout the Group
- Excellent English language skills
- High level of commitment, team spirit and integrative personality
- Relevant sustainability expertise with a profound understanding of environmental management and/or reporting (e.g. knowledge of CSRD/ESRS) would be an asset
