Director of Market Intelligence

**Your role**

Within our CTDMO Services business we provide different services to our customers: from the development of cell lines for clinical use to the commercial production of antibody drug conjugates. As a key strategic pillar within Life Science our mandate is to ensure the long-term profitable growth of the business.

As a director of business intelligence you will be responsible for driving the 3 key pillars of this function:

- **Market intelligence**:develop market models to identify market trends (e.g. market size by modality), systematically track molecule pipeline developments, identify (based on facts) industry trends, etc.
- **Competitor intelligence**:systematically track competitor investments, estimate competitor capacities, map our capabilities & value proposition, etc.
- **Customer intelligence**:understand customer trends (e.g. divestments), identify financial drivers/performance, track pipeline failures/successes, etc.

You will partner with the LSS Strategy managers, business leaders across Process Solutions & Life Science Services and a variety of internal and external collaborators to source, align, cleanse, integrate and analyze internal and external data (both qualitative and quantitative) to provide meaningful and insightful views on our market. The director performs root cause analysis to answer specific business questions and drive actionable results. Further key responsibilities include the development and maintenance of dashboards and establishment of reporting protocols in a fluid market environment.

Through a highly collaborative approach, you will lead multiple, complex projects and help key stakeholders to develop their fact-based understanding of the market. The person engages, challenges and mentors team members and builds scalable capabilities in the business through tool integration and development of best practices.

**Who you are**

**Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Applied Math, Data Science, Business Administration, Informatics or in a related field with strong focus on data analysis / data science
- Management consulting, competitive intelligence and/or market intelligence experience
- 5+ years of relevant, professional experience
- Proficiency with advanced data analytics and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong communication skills - data visualization, presentation creation
- Fluent spoken and written English

**Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (MBA, Masters or PhD)
- Professional experience ideally within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or Chemicals markets; knowledge of CDMO space is a plus
- Deeply analytical with quantitative and qualitative data - framing and conducting analysis, market modeling
- Experience with:

- Structured Query Language (SQL), Relational Database Management Systems and Cloud Databases
- Programming languages like Python, R, JavaScript, etc.
- Statistical Programming packages such as R, SAS, SPSS
- Experienced in global organization working with highly technical team members

You should be prepared for behavioral and case-study interviews.
