**Your role**:
As Director of Clinical Imaging you drive and design together with the Global Project Teams and Clinical Teams Imaging Strategies for clinical programs and studies for the Development Unit Oncology and Neurology & Inflammation. You will formulate appropriate imaging biomarker plans and work closely with vendor Imaging Research Organizations (IRO) to develop independent read charters (IRC), image acquisition guidelines and other imaging-specific documents. You will provide IRO oversight in conjunction with the clinical and operations project teams and monitor independent read quality and timeline adherence for deliverables and related project issues. You will prepare materials for and review imaging-related content of regulatory submissions.
**Who you are**:
- Advanced degree or doctorate in Life Science, Medicine, Medical Physics or Engineering plus clinical trial imaging experience. For physicians, US Boards in Diagnostic Radiology or European Certification in Diagnostic Radiology will be desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years post-degree experience in imaging, in at least two of a) an IRO, b) an academic research environment, c) a healthcare environment d) an imaging science unit within a Sponsor Pharmaceutical Company.
- Expert knowledge and experience of imaging as applied to pharmaceutical development and registration.
- In-depth professional experience in imaging disciplines: ideally project management experience, plus in-depth knowledge of and experience in imaging discipline - which will also require expert understanding of clinical research and the market.
