Civilian Training and Development Specialist

**Duties**:

- Serves as a civilian training and development specialist in the 52nd Signal Battalion (BN) Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) Business and Plans division.
- Provide technical advice and policy assistance to all levels of management and employees concerning determination and assessment of training needs.
- Consult and coordinate with supervisors, managers, and employees to aid in the planning and presentation of required courses.
- Develop and instruct civilian workforce training workshops as needed.
- Develop, coordinate, and administer training and development activities which are responsive to immediate and long-range needs and goals of the BN/RNEC, 2nd Signal BDE and NETCOM.
- Perform planning, programming, coordination, and evaluation of civilian workforce training programs to attain optimum use of training facilities and other training resources across the BN/RNEC.

- The incumbent must possess a valid motor vehicle driver?s license and be able to obtain and maintain a valid government vehicle operator?s license.

- Due to COVID-19, the agency is currently in an expanded telework posture. If selected, you may be expected to temporarily telework, even if your home is located outside the local commuting area. - Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business, Management, Organizational Leadership, or Education.

- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
