Joint Information Operations Training and Exercise

As a Joint Information Operations Training and Exercise Planner you’ll bring your

consulting expertise to integrate information related capabilities into training and exercises. You will develop, review, and update a broad range of training and exercise materials relevant to joint electromagnetic spectrum operations, electronic warfare, operations security, military information support operations, military deception, cyberspace operations, and other related capabilities. You’ll use your skills and expertise to research, develop, recommend, integrate, synchronize, and provide briefings to senior military leaders.

**You Have**:

- 8+ years of experience working in the Department of Defense as military, civilian, or contractor in a joint or combined HQ, major command or higher headquarters
- 5+ years of military exercise planning at the Component Command, Combatant Command, or Service level, including with the Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC), Joint Training System (JTS), Defense Readiness Reporting (DRRS), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), and Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS)
- 5+ years of experience with Department of Defense military planning or exercise
- Mastery of the Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES) and Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP)
- Ability to manage planning efforts of multiple events simultaneously
- Knowledge of joint staffing functions and actions
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, or International Relations

- Possession of excellent analytical skills at the strategic and operational levels
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent research and organizational skills
- Master’s degree in Business, Communication, Public Relations, International Relations, or similar field of study preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Completion of Joint Information Operations Planners' Course (JIOPC) training is preferred
