Information Technology Specialist

**Duties**: - Works current operations within a Signal Battalion, soliciting feedback on Information Technology requirements and solutions from directorates and identifying problem areas, both internal and external. - Reviews and analyzes completed tasking or studies for effectiveness, efficiency and adherence to policy, making changes to established procedures as necessary. Publishes comprehensive after-action reports. - Serves as the IT Metrics Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for managing and sustaining a complex IT Metrics program. - Works with the Operations Officer/Battalion S3 in planning, coordinating, and synchronizing training management, internal operations tracking, and school requirements. - Ensures the Training Team in CUOPS consults and coordinates with supervisors, managers, and employees to aid in the planning and presentation of required courses. - Assists the training program by developing and instructing civilian workforce training workshops as needed. - Provides reports that are based on statistical data about the status of civilian workforce training to BN/RNEC leadership and higher-level commands. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. - Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. - One year trial/probationary period may be required. - Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19. - This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. - This position requires a medical examination - Direct Deposit of Pay is required. - The initial length of this overseas tour is 48 months. - Pay retention may be offered to selected applicants for positions at overseas locations.
