**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As Operations Team Lead, you are managing the teams responsible for the purchase to pay process of our most important partners in wholesale. You are responsible for the strategy as well as executing pre-season and in-season operational processes.

- **Guiding your team**: Lead, support and develop the Operations Leads (2 direct reports) for all people-related decisions in their teams. You will be responsible for defining and further developing the organizational set-up needed in Ops, while balancing capacities between the Ops teams.
- **Operational Steering**: You are accountable for target achievement on all operational KPIs and further development of new focus areas and KPIs. You prioritize work for the Ops teams based on the commercial priorities. You participate in trading and strategy meetings to align on the business priorities and play these back to the teams.
- **Strategy & Standardization**: Building operational strategies for biggest partners in wholesale, leading your team, internal stakeholders and the partners towards efficient processes and standardization across partners.
- **Relationship Building**: Be in constant exchange and close alignment with Partners, Process Excellence Managers, Strategic Partner Managers, Buying & Merchandising units and central support functions.
- **Tooling**:You work closely with Tech to ensure the technical solutions work for our biggest partners.

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You are a business leader with extensive experience (7+ years) working in retail operations ideally covering buying & merchandising processes.
- You have proven experience developing and implementing new initiatives, processes and/or tools, always looking to drive further improvements for the team and the business unit.
- You have gathered regular hands-on experience in interactions with suppliers, senior leadership and management counterparts. You are an effective relationship builder and team player.
- You are a strong leader. You have significant experience leading a large team, providing direction, and ensuring team health and motivation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- You are excited to add to best practice and contribute towards the future of Operations at Zalando. You are motivated and comfortable to work in an ever-changing environment, you are solution-oriented and you enjoy working in a dynamic environment. Your experience demonstrates a quick thinking and proactive attitude, keeping you on top of things.
