**Who will you be joining?**

Allianz SE is the holding company and headquarters of the Allianz Group’s conglomerate of insurance and asset management operating entities. A large and rapidly growing portion of our assets under management comes from individual clients, making wealth management a key growth area for Allianz.

The Global Retirement & Wealth Propositions is a team within Allianz SE that is responsible for driving the growth of our life-insurance based investment solutions in the areas of retirement and wealth management. We work closely with our local business units to co-develop innovative product and advisory solutions as well as assist them in implementing these solutions within their respective markets. In addition, we also assist Allianz’s management board in shaping the group’s strategy in the areas of retirement and wealth management, as well as foster best-practice sharing amongst our business units.

As a Market Development Lead, you will be at the forefront of shaping the strategy and growth of our operating entities (OEs) and the Allianz Group in wealth and retirement businesses.

**How can you make an impact?**
- Identify and evaluate opportunities within the retirement and wealth space with our operating entities (OEs).
- Evaluate business plans that have been proposed by different OEs and provide key insights and recommendations to senior management on these proposals.
- Drive or assist the building of business cases for specific initiatives in the retirement and wealth segments with the support of internal and external experts.
- Facilitate the engagement of key stakeholders within the OEs and Group headquarters for various initiatives (i.e. new opportunities vs. in-flight activities) to minimize decision or executional bottlenecks.
- Keep up to date on market developments (e.g. regulatory changes, competitor actions) to identify opportune windows for implementation in high potential markets.
- Construct analyses and presentations for senior management on various key topics on an as-required basis

**What are you made of?**

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, economics, or relevant field. CFA or CAIA qualifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience from either management consulting, wealth or asset management, private or investment banking, or life insurance
- Robust qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to drive management decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to persuasively interact with senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills in delivering compelling presentations, facilitate workshops/ working sessions and clearly articulate ideas
