Business Development Lead (Trajectory) – Energy Flexibility

About the Role

Gridmetry is looking for a
Business Development Lead (Trajectory)
with a consulting or strategy background who is ready to take ownership and grow into a leadership role.

You will drive our commercial expansion in the energy flexibility space—building partnerships, identifying opportunities, and shaping the go-to-market strategy for our innovative solution that connects
digital infrastructure with renewable energy markets
. Within two years, you'll evolve into the
Head of Business Development
, leading the global BD function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across energy, digital infrastructure, and data center sectors
  • Develop and execute Gridmetry's commercial and go-to-market strategy
  • Build and manage relationships with utilities, TSOs, BRPs/BSPs, and technology partners
  • Translate market insights into commercial action plans and partnership models
  • Establish scalable BD processes (CRM, pipeline management, reporting, collateral)
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to align market feedback with technical development

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience
    in management consulting, strategy, or business development
  • Strong commercial mindset
    and the drive to generate business and close deals
  • Analytical problem solver
    with the ability to turn complex ideas into actionable insights
  • Excellent
    communication and stakeholder management
    skills
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in energy markets, renewable power, or digital infrastructure is a plus
