About the Role
Gridmetry is looking for a
Business Development Lead (Trajectory)
with a consulting or strategy background who is ready to take ownership and grow into a leadership role.
You will drive our commercial expansion in the energy flexibility space—building partnerships, identifying opportunities, and shaping the go-to-market strategy for our innovative solution that connects
digital infrastructure with renewable energy markets
. Within two years, you'll evolve into the
Head of Business Development
, leading the global BD function.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across energy, digital infrastructure, and data center sectors
- Develop and execute Gridmetry's commercial and go-to-market strategy
- Build and manage relationships with utilities, TSOs, BRPs/BSPs, and technology partners
- Translate market insights into commercial action plans and partnership models
- Establish scalable BD processes (CRM, pipeline management, reporting, collateral)
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to align market feedback with technical development
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience
in management consulting, strategy, or business development - Strong commercial mindset
and the drive to generate business and close deals - Analytical problem solver
with the ability to turn complex ideas into actionable insights - Excellent
communication and stakeholder management
skills - Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in energy markets, renewable power, or digital infrastructure is a plus
