Creation of a Simulation of An Agricultural

In the "Field Robotics" group at Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart, we are an international research team passionate about developing holistic robotic systems for sustainable and future-proof agriculture in Europe. In doing so, we rely on advanced AI technology to improve food quality, protect our environment without economically disadvantaging farmers, and create sustainable pathways to regenerative and ecological agriculture. In this context, a realistic and robust simulation environment is essential. Part of such a simulation environment are mobile outdoor robots and realistic environment models, or ground conditions. Important in the creation of such models is a realistic simulation, so that, for example, computer vision approaches can be pre-trained with it.
