Job Description Summary

A highly-motivated and detail-oriented individual is sought to drive research at the Johnson Foundation Structural Biology and Biophysics Core

In addition to general laboratory tasks, the Research Specialist will help core facility users implement and execute experiments, develop standard protocols, troubleshoot, and assist users with the analysis and interpretation of results. Position will require daily record keeping with a laboratory notebook and related records, data management, and overseeing, organizing and preparing laboratory reagents. Renewal of position after year one contingent upon continued grant funding.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related area) and 0 to 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task. Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
