- We deliver E2E monitoring, Customer Monitoring, Data Center Monitoring services and solutions to operate IoT Platform
- and Factory Digitalization services.

We ensure highest level of process quality via digitized support as well as its documentation as prerequisite for auditability and certification of operational compliance and excellence.

We provide cross-unit expertise in tooling area for operational excellence, as value proposition for IPS to deliver sustainable and reliable IoT Platform and Factory Digitalization services.

**The Mission**:

- Lead and manage a team of highly motivated experts in the Monitoring and Tools team (Systems Management)
- Develop and drive implementation of overall strategy and architecture for tool landscape (operations, automation, monitoring, configuration, cloudification, security)
- The team and tasks are part of the cross function of IoT and Platform Services and focuses on support of Siemens in-house High Security Data Center as well as different cloud environments
- Develop and drive implementation of strategy for Customer Portals
- Continuous improvement of provider/vendor contracting, performance and innovation

**What part will you play?**
- Lead the implementation and of IT strategies, policies, programs and standards in assigned organizational unit(s).
- Prepare and IT unit budget plans and IT related reports.
- Decide on the use of financial and human resources sets priorities with development and operations teams.
- Advise the IoT and Platforms unit leadership responsible for the business on all IT related issues.
- Create and monitor unit related IT projects and POC's and ensures quality standards for IT operations and processes and drives their automation to the maximum.
- Initiate improvements and ensures appropriate work environment.
- Motivate and coach staff and assists them in their development.
- Maintain active contact with external and internal partners (e.g. suppliers, customers).
- Responsible for and organize contractual matters related to IT services and software vendors.
- Ensures effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resolve cases as an escalation authority.
- Keep abreast of industry and regulatory trends and innovations in the field.
- Foster collaboration with other IT managers and teams and drives overarching and common issues.
- Within the scope of the necessary system availability and customer contracts, participation in on-call services (7*24) as MOD (manager on duty) is required.

**What you need to make real what matters.**
- Master’s degree in IT or similar degree
- More than 5 years leadership experience in international IT organizations and with international/multi-cultural teams of experts
- In-depth knowledge Incident und Event Management, Change Management, Request fulfilment
- Expert in ITIL incl. Certification
- Expert know how and more than 3 years experience with Monitoring solutions, Tool
- and Software development
- Advanced knowledge in server systems, databases, network and cloud solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills on all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication in English and German
- Experience in Data Center operation is beneficial
