We are searching for a Head of Product Development Automotive Systems (M/F/d) to lead our Team in Nuremberg. **Responsibilities**: Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. - Technical and disciplinary leadership of the "Product Development Automotive Systems" department with Systems-, SW- and HW-Engineering teams inside including full cost center and budget responsibility - Responsibility for the development of automotive traction power electronics - Ensuring competitive, efficient and goal-oriented development of products within the department according to agreed project targets (time, costs, function, quality), stakeholder requirements and in compliance to relevant standards, norms and regulations - Responsible for the complete product development cycle starting from project acquisition up to SOP with subsequent serial production support - Conducting research & development activities to improve products & services - Strategic, methodical and organizational development of the team - Ensuring clear interfaces within and outside the team to internal and external partners - Task and resource management in a multi-project environment **Background & Skills**- Study of (business) computer science, electrical engineering / information technology or a comparable qualification - At least 5 years of experience in automotive power development - In-depth knowledge of methods, processes and tools for automotive inverter development - At least 3 years of management experience in the field of product development in an automotive environment with interdisciplinary international multi-project teams - At least 2 years of leadership of leaders experience - Extensive experience in direct contact with customers - Very good written and spoken German and English - Well-developed soft skills (communicative, team - and network oriented, ability to deal with conflicts and contradictions) - Convincing leadership qualities (entrepreneurial thinking and acting, willingness to change, target and customer orientation, lateral thinking, decision-making power, confident and empathic demeanor) - Good moderation and presentation skills - Experience in working with globally distributed and interdisciplinary teams **Employee Benefits** - We are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment: - Bonus system - charging electrical cars - Kindergarden - Paid vacation - Flexible working hours - Possibility to work remotely - Pension plan - Personal insurance - Communication package - State of the art virtual work environment - Employee Referral Program**Semikron Danfoss** - Semikron Danfoss unites two companies that complement each other through shared values such as enthusiasm for technology that enable a sustainable future.
