Head of Strategic Projects

Exasol is looking for a self-driven and motivated Head of Strategic Projects (f/m/d) who will contribute to the company’s success daily. In this role you will work closely with our CEO and other Senior Leadership Team Members to develop and implement new strategic initiatives across departments to bring Exasol to the next level. You will report directly to the CEO of Exasol while managing a small team of (young) professionals.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support in developing and refining the company’s vision and mission and in deriving the company’s strategy
- Reviewing and revising existing (business unit) strategies as needed based on changing conditions in the business environment
- Creating and implementing a long-term strategic plan, including setting goals, milestones and a progress tracking
- Driving strategically important initiatives and transformations and support reorganizational initiatives
- Driving definition and improvement of Exasol's core processes
- Supporting improvements in communication and change management
- Monitoring industry trends and analyzing data to forecast future business opportunities or risks

**Your profile**:

- A strong understanding of Project and Program Management systems, methodologies, tools and techniques
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced meeting facilitation and presentation skills for all levels of staff, including top management
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to summarize complex situations into key points
- Self-motivated and eager to expand knowledge
- Advanced de-escalation skills and ability to summarize complex situations into key points
- Fluent in English and German
