**Duties**:
- Performs work that involves planning and coordinating the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and/or maintenance of hardware or software systems using standard principles, theories, concepts and methods for systems administration.
- Implements security plans, policies, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Utilizes diagnostic tools and techniques to verify operability, optimize the functionality of networks and/or systems, and to diagnose/recover failed systems.
- Provides ongoing optimization and problem solving support to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities. Manages network rights and access to systems and equipment.

- Must currently possess or obtain and maintain a satisfactory Tier 3R investigation
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid US Army Europe (USAREUR) Certificate of license.
- Privately-owned vehicle's (POV) must be registered in Poland. You will be required to register on the Polish economy and obtain insurance. Some insurance companies may not provide coverage for Poland.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain an official no-fee passport.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- The duty location for this position is Wiesbaden, Germany. Selectee will receive a temporary change in station (TCS) orders to Poznan, Poland to serve a 24 month, unaccompanied tour.
- Must possess or obtain (within 6 months of employment) and maintain most applicable Computing Environment (CE) certificates of training.
- In addition, a minimum Information Assurance baseline security certification of Security+ equivalent (or higher certification) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Technical, Level II technicians.
**Qualifications**:
- Specialized IT experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training or IT certification which demonstrates skill in applying: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components; Performance tuning tools and techniques; System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques; Systems administration methods; and IT security principles.
- **OR**1. Attention to detail - Such as implementing quality control procedures and conducting compliance reviews.
- 2. Customer service - Such as providing assistance to both internal and external customers; assessing customers' needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
- 3. Verbal communication - Such as conducting formal presentations or training to audiences at varying levels of hierarchy and technical expertise.
- 4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills - Such as identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.**Best Qualifying Criteria**:
1. Minimum of two years working with MWR and MWR Management Information Systems ( MIS), which includes coordinating execution supporting agencies (i.e. such as FMWR Staff, relevant local and regional NETCOM Support elements). Experience should include Army garrison or similar operational organization management and/or region level.
- 2. Possess knowledge and experience with (APF & NAF) funding relating to Information Technology support function requirements as well as policies governing personnel, programs, and facilities.
- 3. Possess strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- 4. Ability to develop and present briefings to senior leaders, as well as write staff papers and formulate plans.
- 5. Possess experience in development and analysis of facility plans, contracts and specifications (Statements of Work, etc).
- 6. Effective working knowledge of the administration and configuration of networks and network technology.
- 7. Effective working knowledge of US Army Cybersecurity concepts and contemporary tools such as APMS, ITAS, ACAS and eMass.
- 8. Effective working knowledge of Windows 2012 R2 technology with emphasis on system administration of Virtual servers using Hyper V.**Claimed experience must be verifiable through your resume. Assumptions will not be made.**
