This senior leadership role sits within the Business Area Equipment & Services with a view to improving their already excellent customer experience - this role aims to shorten delivery times of the machines and equipment, analyse the supplier base and drive effective relationships and most importantly form a one point of contact route for interfaces within the organisation. Elopak is experiencing an acceleration in demand due to their continued successes in the market in combination with the launch of new machine platforms and a challenging supply situation due to growth, new approaches must be considered to manage market expectations in a consistent and qualitative way to ensure dependable supply.

Main responsibilities

Global head of supply for the entire equipment portfolio.
Securing supply according to market requirements by managing current supplier base effectively and by developing new suppliers - expanding on a modular approach, optimising quality, cost and delivery accuracy.
The role is responsible for leading operational procurement in alignment with group strategic sourcing, end-product-quality and cost-efficient operations.
The position takes an active role in forecasting of supply and managing delivery expectations accordingly.
Focus on process efficiency with lead-time reduction and cost optimisation.
Direct management of Heads of Division across Assembly, Procurement, Quality and Project Management

Personal profile and background

7+ years in a similar role with demonstrable successes in optimisation and cost saving
Engineering background with relevant qualifications and growth in this market area
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to conduct results-based negotiations. Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills on an international basis
Strong decision-maker with the ability to consider all alternatives and options and effectively implement appropriate action
