Our Corporate Communication & Governmental Relations department is looking for a Head of Representative Office.

**Your responsibilities**
- Execute advocacy on the main European energy priorities of Uniper in Brussels within the division “Corporate Communication & Governmental Relations”
- Promote and represent Uniper towards the European Institutions and wider EU stakeholder community
- Gather intelligence and ensure consistent monitoring of legislative developments
- Safeguard Uniper’s interests in energy, environment and climate policy within the political decision making process in Brussels
- Ensure the business is kept fully informed through regular and timely briefings
- Manage and steer the team of advisers and oversee Brussels based activities

**Your profile**
- Higher University degree (Masters), preferably focus on Economics/ Business/Law/Public Policy
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience preferably in Brussels (prior experience within the EU institutions or national ministries an advantage)
- Demonstrable influencing skills and strong strategic and political understanding, in-depth knowledge of EU legislative processes
- Strong personal networks at EU level; additional networks at national level highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, convincing approach and the ability to cope with the complexity of energy policy
- Team player with good organisation and time management skills, accuracy, speed and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of German and / or another major language an advantage)
