Do you want to play a role in global commerce while demonstrating exceptional change management, people/team management, and participative leadership skills?

Prologis is looking for a dynamic Head of Development Management Germany to lead a team of 5-10 OCM and Development Managers responsible for the design, entitlement, and construction of (re-)development and major refurbishment projects of both speculative and Build-to-suit industrial and warehouse facilities across regional markets with offices in Munich and Berlin.

As the Head of Development Management Germany, you will not only play a fundamental role in our land acquisition, land entitlement, land development, design development, procurement, value engineering, and design optimization work, but also in leading and managing a diverse team. You will push boundaries through innovation, strategic sourcing, and process improvements to compress schedules, reduce costs, and advance alternate construction methods while fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence within your team.

Partnering with our executive team in Germany, you will help grow Prologis' presence in the German market and align with cross-regional leadership to create cohesive communication, management, and strategy throughout our global network. Your strong change management, team management, and participative leadership skills will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities include:

- Building strong partnerships and collaborating with local Prologis teams (Country Manager, Investment & Market Officers, Capital Deployment & Leasing) to achieve strategic goals
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders outside of Prologis like municipalities, general contractors and architects/consultants
- Act as part of the Leadership Team within Germany, fostering collaboration, communication, and innovation across departments
- Coach, mentor, and develop your team of Construction Managers and Development Managers, ensuring their growth and success within Prologis
- Drive continuous process improvement and innovation across the organization, focusing on streamlining workflows and maximizing efficiency

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 10 years' experience in industrial development, land entitlement, and construction
- Being able to set strategy and jump in with a hands on mentality
- Proven track record of effective change management
- Strong team management and participative leadership
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or Architecture
- Demonstrated expertise in leading and motivating high performing teams
- Excellent command of English; able to read, write, and negotiate in English
- Willingness to travel unrestricted in Germany and some travels within Europe
