**The role**:
Forget Finance empowers everyone to worry less about finance and create a more joyful life. With that purpose, we are building a personal financial coach that simplifies and automates your finances holistically. We received €4.2m funding from top-tier VCs and business angels in order to achieve our ambitious goal: Guide and manage the financial life of 10 million millennials by 2030. Now, we welcome new talents to join our journey.
We are looking for a UX Research Working Student who will shape our product from day one and gather user insights: You make sure the voice of our users is heard by conducting user research, analyzing findings and translating them into actionable items. You inform design decisions and collaborate closely with the product and design team. If this gets you fired up, then reach out to us

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identify research needs, prioritize them and create research concepts to tackle them enjoying a high degree of autonomy
- Think of creative ways to recruit the right users for your research sessions
- Conduct user interviews, usability tests and focus groups to find out what’s on the user’s mind
- Inform design decisions by making sure your research findings are delivered in an actionable manner
- Document and structure your work to build an accessible, reusable knowledge basis
- Maintain our research repository and bring it to the next level

**About you**:

- You are equipped with a tool belt of UX research methods and with an understanding of pros and cons of each method
- You have experience using qualitative and quantitative research methods
- You have outstanding interviewing skills and know how to deal with unconscious biases and social desirability
- You always put the user at the center of what you do
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment and adapt your plans accordingly if needed
- You have a strong passion for personal finances and are confident using financial terminology
- You love to assume responsibility and repay it by being highly reliable
- You will be based in Berlin for the duration of the role
- You are native in German
