Senior UX Researcher

About this role:

As a Senior UX Researcher, you'll be part of the Logistics UX Research team looking after the apps and websites our Couriers use to deliver everyday convenience, globally.

We work in cross-functional teams made up of Designers, Researchers, Copywriters, Product Managers, Analysts and Engineers. The way we work is collaborative and fast-paced. We want to discover what our users will love as soon as we can. We like to explore problems in-depth, and we like to speak with our users on a regular basis, to explore what we are working on and help us understand their needs.

At JET, you'll make research and user-centricity a key part of the product and design decisions. You'll be hungry for insights - keen to get stuck in and uncover our users' needs across the end-to-end experience. You'll work both independently and together with other researchers to deliver impactful, robust, and timely findings that make real differences in our users' experiences. 

Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week from our Berlin office & 2 days working from home

• Working with cross-functional partners to identify and prioritise research needs and opportunities 
• Tackling complex problems and working with ambiguity 
• Digging deeper to understand the underlying issue and/or goal for our users 
• Being an advocate for accessible and inclusive design solutions
• Use your storytelling skills to influence and you bring research to life in your presentations and reports 
• Mentor and coach less experienced members of the team and support community-building activities 
• Develop relationships and act as a strategic partner 
• A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to take ownership of the entire research process, from ideation through to playback, with a focus on working collaboratively

What will you bring to the table?

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong knowledge of different research methods and understanding of when to apply one method over another
• Strong experience conducting mixed-methods UX research. Survey design, sampling, and statistical interpretation. R, Python, SQL would be desirable
• Skilled in turning open and ambiguous research needs into clear and compelling questions, activities & outcomes
• Experience translating research into business impact and bringing insights to life in a clear, concise and compelling way  
• ​​Experience in establishing best practices and robust research processes 
• Strong knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design, and experience conducting research with people with accessibility needs - or a willingness to learn
• A growth-oriented outlook, with a desire to learn and improve
