Introduction to the Position
Join a fast-growing Private Equity firm in Germany as a German-speaking Accountant Our client is looking for a skilled finance professional to support their accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment where you will handle a variety of accounting tasks while utilizing NetSuite ERP. If you have a strong background in accounting and experience with NetSuite, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Your Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations
Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
Utilize NetSuite ERP to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
Contribute to process improvements and financial controls within the organization
Desired Qualifications
Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken)
Experience in accounting, ideally within a Private Equity or financial services environment
Strong knowledge of German accounting regulations (HGB) and tax requirements
Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
