What we do
At the intersection of AI and Private Equity lies a great opportunity to seize immense value from the “Mittelstand”. We, at merantix PE alongside our strong LP network, aim to leverage our extensive tech ecosystem, our expertise in implementing AI solutions within corporations and our AI venture building skills to make European SMEs more competitive. For this we identify companies that, through the implementation of AI, will attain a new competitive edge and can unleash the value of their products, services and IP. You will lead the AI competence of this innovation-driven approach on mid-market Private Equity investments. You will have the opportunity to head a team of experts in elaborating AI levers in potential targets and account for the sustainable AI-focused value creation in our portfolio companies.
This role is for you
1. You are excited about discovering and discussing AI levers in potential investment opportunities and quantifying their business impact
2. You are passionate about developing AI-based strategies to drive sustainable business growth and improve efficiency in SMEs
3. You want to lead the respective implementation in portfolio companies to create shareholder value in mid-cap private equity investments

- Proven track record in AI implementation with team responsibility (consultancy or alike position)
- Experience in or with Private Equity highly welcome
- Top academical background
- Fluent in German and English
